Refund policy

This document is published in Hebrew and in translation. The Hebrew version is binding.

1. Who sells and who refunds

1.1. The UMAMO service is provided by 2 Code Solutions Ltd., UIC 207500451 (hereinafter "UMAMO", "we").

1.2. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle also processes the payment for the subscription. Refunds are made by Paddle using the same method by which the payment was made (to the same card or the same payment account).

1.3. This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use (umamo.app/terms) (the "Terms"). In the event of any conflict on matters relating to refunds, this Policy prevails.

2. Free trial period

2.1. Each new Restaurant receives the Plan of its choice free of charge for 30 days — no card and no payment required.

2.2. Nothing is charged during the trial period, so there is nothing to refund. If the Plan does not suit you, simply do not pay for it: your menu will switch to "read-only" mode and will not be deleted immediately.

3. Subscription — monthly only

3.1. All Plans are paid in advance for one month and renew automatically every month until you cancel them.

3.2. You may cancel your subscription at any time: in the dashboard (the "Plan" section), via the link in Paddle's payment e-mail, or by writing to office@umamo.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for, and no further charges will be made.

4. When we refund money

4.1. First payment — 14 days. If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of the date of your first payment, we refund the full amount of that payment, with no reason required.

4.2. Subsequent monthly payments are non-refundable: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and the Service remains available until that date.

4.3. Erroneous or duplicate charge — we refund it in full. Write to us within 60 days of the date of the charge.

4.4. The Service was unavailable through our fault for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid period — upon request, we refund a proportionate part of the monthly payment.

4.5. We discontinue the Service or materially reduce a paid Plan (Terms, clauses 13.2 and 13.3) — we refund the cost of the unused part of the paid period.

4.6. We do not refund money if the account is closed due to a material breach of the Terms of Use (section 11 of the Terms), except where a refund is required by law.

5. If you are a consumer

5.1. The Service is intended for businesses. However, if a Customer qualifies as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (Israel), or under the laws of the country of the Customer's residence, the Customer has all the rights granted by that law, and those rights prevail over any provision of this Policy.

5.2. In particular, under sections 14C, 14C1 and 13D of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of Transaction), 5771-2010: the transaction may be cancelled within 14 days of its conclusion or of receipt of the document setting out its terms (whichever is later); the money is refunded within 14 days of the notice of cancellation; the cancellation fee may not exceed 5% of the price or ₪100 (ILS), whichever is lower; for seniors, new immigrants and persons with disabilities, the period is 4 months. Cancellation may be made by telephone, by letter, by e-mail or through the Site.

6. How to request a refund

6.1. Write to office@umamo.app from the e-mail address specified in your account, and state the name of your venue and the date of the payment. You may also contact Paddle directly: a "Get help" link is included in every payment e-mail, or visit paddle.net.

6.2. We respond within 3 business days. Paddle sends an approved refund within 14 days; when the money appears on your card depends on your bank, usually 5–10 business days.

6.3. After a full refund for the current month, the subscription is cancelled and the account switches to "read-only" mode (Terms, clause 5.2). Data is retained and deleted within the periods set out in section 16 of the Terms.
